2020 Chinese New Year Celebration
Come join us as we usher the Year of the Rat!! We will commemorate the Chinese New Year starting January 24th at 8:30pm with New Year’s Eve Prayers Service and offer the annual incense. The Chinese New Year event will start from 1/24 – 2/16/2020. Celebrations include annual incense offering, New Year Prayers Service, Thousand Buddhas’ Prayers Service, lion dance, welcome the new year by sounding the wishing bell, write down your prayers and many more…

Three Acts of Goodness Cultural Day
Do you ever wonder what’s like to visit a Zen/Chan Buddhist temple or wish to visit one, but don’t know where? We welcome everyone to join us for a cultural day with programs focus on the Three Acts of Goodness, which are Do Good Deeds, Speak Good Words, and Think Good Thoughts by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. We have temple tour where one will have a great opportunity to learn how to be in the present moment and take time out from daily hectic life. We have Chan meditation in our Main Shrine, a time to be mindful with our breaths. We will have the Chinese New Year decorations up to welcome the Year of the Rat. Everyone will have an opportunity to write their prayers and sounding the new year bell. We will also be having Chinese Zither performance, Chinese painting/calligraphy, and mindful coloring for the kids.
