“Thanks Buddha It’s Friday” program will be on Oct. 28th, 7:00-8:00pm (Pacific Time). The program includes a short silence meditation, followed by a special Dharma Talk on “Encountering Gandhara: A Millennium Promise with Buddha.”

Biography of the Guest Lecturer:
Venerable Ru Xing graduated from Fo Guang Shan Tsung Lin English Buddhist College 2006 and started as an administrator of educational and cultural department in Fo Guang Shan Malaysia. Between 2008-2018, she has been the Guiding Advisor of Fo Guang Emergency Response Team as well as the Superintendent of FGS Malaysia Petaling Jaya SS3 temple. She then being promoted as the Vice Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Malaysia Petaling Jaya SS3 branch until present day. Ven. You Zong renounced and fully ordained in 2008 and she is currently serving at Dong Zen Temple, Malaysia.
