Veggie Friends Circle (VFC)
A group for EVERYONE where friendship and plant-based food meet. We gather not just to share meals, but to explore the joy of compassionate eating, cultivate healthy and sustainable lifestyles, and build connections through kindness, cultural exchange and shared experiences.
Guided by the spirit of Humanistic Buddhism, we strive to offer a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to connect over wholesome food and wholesome living.

Whether you've been vegan/vegetarian your whole life, are curious about the lifestyle or simply would like to be in community with us at the temple... this group is for you!
Meeting Day & Time:
First Friday of every month
Meal Prep: 5:30-6:30pm (optional, volunteers will be given additional details)
Gathering/Meeting: 6:30-7:30pm
Light Dinner: 7:30-8:00pm (all invited; please bring your dishware & utensils)
Location:
Hsi Fang Temple, San Diego Buddhist Association, 4538 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92116, at our Community Room (inside Bookstore). Limited parking available in rear lot. Entrance in through the alleyway behind temple.
